Painting with Light

Dan Brenner imagines himself as former St. Louis Cardinals player Bob Gibson reminiscing about his days as a player. Gibson started playing for the team almost 50 years ago and is remembered as one of the greatest pitchers of his time. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the World Series twice in his career and retired after 16 years with the Cardinals. So far this year, the Cardinals have a 14-7 record.

Hannah Liptak, 10, practices her cheer routine during a Center Stage dance class on April 8, 2010. Center Stage is an MU program that provides free dance classes to low-income children and families. Classes have to meet in the university's Arts and Science Building because it is one of the few places that won't charge the program's organizers to rent the space.

Title: "Laying Off at the Family Business"

I think this was pretty well done but could have definitely benefited from ambient audio. And I'm not sure if this would even be possible but I would have liked to have seen pictures of the woman in the process of laying someone off, to really show the heartbreak and emotions involved.

The Adelines, a women's a cappella show choir, will be performing the songs "With Plenty of Money and You" and "Will It Be Me This Time?" The chorus chooses a character they want to portray for every competition and try to keep it a secret from the other choruses until the day of the competition.
